Athletic Logos
Logo A1 is the primary athletic logo. This logo should be used whenever possible, especially when it is the only graphic identifier for the Rangers. This is also the recommended logo for use on most spirit apparel and team gear, including game jerseys. The one color logos A2 and A3 are acceptable for use only on apparel when the use of one color is needed. A2 should be used exclusively on white backgrounds or apparel while A3 should be used exclusively on dark colored apparel. |

Logo B1 is the main secondary logo for Ranger athletics. B1 is acceptable to use on uniforms, apparel and on promotional materials. Bear logos B2 and B3 should only be used on clothing and apparel. B2 when one color is necessary on white clothing and B3 when one color printing is necessary on a dark background. With this logo it is permissible to have the Rangers C1 logo above the bear but not the Parkside wordmark. |

Logo C1 is another secondary logo that can be used on apparel and jerseys. A sport may be displayed underneath so long as gender designation is removed (i.e. just basketball not women's basketball) and it's in the approved font: hagin caps. Logo C1 is also acceptable to use for promotional items and posters. |

Logo P1 is another secondary logo. The logo is limited to uniforms or hat logos for baseball. The P should never be used as a standalone logo with no other identifiers and should not be used in print or one the web. P logos P2 and P3 should only be used on clothing and apparel. P2 when one color is necessary on white clothing and P3 when one color printing is necessary on a dark background. |

The Shield and Bear logo (E1) is a tertiary mark for Ranger athletics. E1 is limited to clothing and apparel (especially when embroidered) where a less detailed logo is needed. Shield and Bear logos E2 and E3 should only be used on clothing and apparel. E2 when one color is necessary on white clothing and E3 when one color printing is necessary on a dark background. |

Logo F1 (Shield and P) is another tertiary logo that can be used on apparel and jerseys on a very limited basis. F logos F2 and F3 should only be used on clothing and apparel. F2 when one color is necessary on white clothing and F3 when one color printing is necessary on a dark background. |

Logo G1 is to be used for special events only. It is acceptable to deface the logo with text provided the font used is hagin caps. Examples of uses for G1 is for coaches reaching milestone wins (logo with coach name and win total), Hall of Fame, Golf Outing/Fundraising Event or to display the athletic department mission statement. G2 and G3 can be used when needing a simpler background for the text. |

The Lock-Up Vertical Logo (H1) is the primary logo used for department business cards. When appropriate the logo can additionally be used as a secondary logo in print projects. This logo should never be used on apparel or uniforms. Logos H2 and H3 can be used on a very limited basis in print. |

The Parkside Script Logo is another secondary logo that can be used on apparel and jerseys. The Lock-Up Horizontal Logo/Wordmark (J1) is the primary logo/wordmark used for department letterhead and the athletic website. Similar to the lock-up vertical the logo/wordmark should only be used in print and on large format displays and never on team uniforms or spirit apparel. Logo/wordmarks J2 and J3 can be used when appropriate and it is also acceptable to use J4, which combines the bear logo from J1 and the white font of J3 (This is the logo/wordmark being used on parksiderangers.com). |

For Breast Cancer Awareness Pink Games, the Bear B2 logo should be used changing the green outline color to pink. No other UW-Parkside athletic logo may have its colors manipulated at this time for a Pink Game. |

Unacceptable UsesThe UW-Parkside athletic logos cannot be distorted, stretched, tilted or recolored. The logo package is available for use by Athletic Department and its intercollegiate sports, club sports, intramurals, and any clubs, activities, or academic departments.
