You will have the ability to enter the workforce with specialized skills that will give you the earning potential you did not have without a degree. This is an excellent way for you to earn credentials that will help you succeed in the workplace while you are on your educational pathway towards a bachelor's degree.
If you have already started college in the past, an associate degree is an attainable and affordable way to transition back into college. You may even find that you already have credits that can be applied towards the degree!
Associate of Arts Degrees
Liberal Studies and Leadership
If you are seeking degree completion options and your needs and interests are not limited to a single discipline, this may be the perfect fit for you. Grounded in the liberal arts tradition, this program will prepare you to communicate effectively, think critically, and creatively.
Military and Professional Studies
Historical, ethical, and foundational skills in military and security studies are the focus of this degree that is open to all students, even if you do not have military experience. If you are active military, you may be able to apply credits earned towards promotion. If you can demonstrate learning as a result of your military experience you may receive credit toward this degree.
Gain the skills that employers in the private and public sector have identified as being important for their employees to have--be civically engaged, community minded, and possess the analytical skills to navigate the increasingly dynamic employment landscape.
Associate of Science Degrees
Acquire a solid understanding of financial and monetary economics and the ability to apply tools of economic analysis to the workings of the financial and banking sectors of the economy. This degree provides an excellent foundation if you are interested in a bachelor's degree in business, accounting, or economics.
A suite of courses that will develop your skills in a number of laboratory based courses that will allow you to apply for jobs in these settings. You will become comfortable planning and conducting scientific research. Clinical research assistant or quality assurance lab technician are a couple positions that you may seek within the region.
This degree is designed for students with an interest in engineering related fields. You are eligible to earn an AS in Physics while completing the first two years of an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree. Students who successfully complete the program will be eligible for automatic admission into UW-Milwaukee College of Engineering and Applied Science (UWM-CEAS) after completion of required courses and meeting the minimum GPA requirements. This degree may also be pursued in conjunction with a Math or Computer Science bachelor's degree.
