This degree completion program is designed for people with 60 credits. If you have less than or no college credits, the Associate of Arts and Science program provides the opportunity to earn online "foundation" credits for a Bachelor of Science degree. To help you reach your educational goals, advisors and faculty at UW-Parkside work with you to choose courses that create a clear pathway toward a 100% online bachelor's degree in Sustainable Management.
UW-Parkside is your local connection to this degree program, where you can meet with advisors and connect to the resources our campus provides. Course Highlights
A few courses you will take:
Environmental Science and Sustainability
Overview of the interrelationships between humans and the environment. The material presented in the first one-third of the course focuses on important ecological concepts. The remainder of the course deals with human influence on the environment and sustainable practices to avoid or ameliorate the negative impacts.
Marketing for a Sustainable World
An analysis of an organization’s opportunities to develop sustainability practices as they relate to the development of product, pricing, supply and distribution channels (retail, wholesale), promotion (advertising, sales promotion, public relations) and target markets.
International Development and Sustainability
Historical roots of the idea of development, economic theories of growth and their implications for sustainability, and interrelationships between population growth, food security, poverty, inequality, urbanization, technological change, international trade and environmental change at local, regional and global scales. Contemporary issues and alternatives.
Academics
The Sustainable Management (BS) is a degree completion program designed for students who already have at least 60 college credits or an associate’s degree with a 2.0 grade point average
