Password Reset Steps
Campus Technology Services offers an easy-to-use, browser based tool that allows you to reset your password proactively or in the event that you forget it.
Important: If you forget your password, you can use the “Forgotten Password” option to set a new password. However, to do so you must first configure your backup security methods. If you have not yet completed this step and forget your password, please contact the help desk at (262) 595-2444 for assistance.
To Configure Your backup Security Methods:
- Go to: myapps.uwp.edu
- Enter your username and password
- Verify with Okta MFA
- Click you name at the top right
- Click Settings
- In the section that says “Security Methods” Click “Set Up” next to phone
- You can also set a backup email in the “Personal Information” section
- Logout
You Know Your Password and Would Like to Reset It:
- Go to: myapps.uwp.edu
- Enter your username and password
- Verify with Okta MFA
- Click your name at the top right
- Find the “Change Password" Section
- Set your new password and click the Change Password button
- Logout
You Forget Your Password:
- Go to: myapps.uwp.edu
- Enter your UW-P username
- Click “Forgot Password?”
- Select one of your backup security methods
- Follow instructions sent to backup method
- Set your new password and click the Change Password button
- Logout
