UW-Parkside Students Present Research at 2025 NCUR

NCUR 2025Ten University of Wisconsin-Parkside students participated in The National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) 2025 on Monday, April 7, through Wednesday, April 9, in Pittsburgh, PA at Duquesne University. This annual event brings in over 4,000 undergraduate students to present on a variety of scholarly activities.

UW-Parkside has a long tradition of sending undergraduate students to present at this event. This year, ten UW-Parkside students and two faculty mentors will be attending to give ten different presentations. 

The UW-Parkside student presenters are:

  • Riley Tucker
  • Aryan Patel
  • Samantha Esp
  • Valentina Rovella
  • Magnus Schroeder
  • Blake Beyer

The two attending faculty mentors were Jessica Orlofske (Biological Sciences) and Kamil Samara (Computer Science), who will support the ten UW-Parkside students during the trip and their presentations. They each have a student presenting at NCUR.

The National Conference on Undergraduate Research promotes undergraduate research, scholarship, and creative activity in all fields of study by sponsoring an annual conference. This conference, tailored to student scholars, welcomes presenters from all institutions of higher learning and from all disciplines.
