UW System administration will be upgrading our Human Resources System (HRS) the weekend of February 25. The new version, HRS 9.2, is scheduled to "go live" for all users on Monday, February 27. The University of Wisconsin Service Center will need a period of five days to transition to the new version of HRS, therefore the system will be unavailable from noon (12:00 p.m.) on Wednesday, February 22 through the weekend.
TALENT ACQUISITION MANAGEMENT (TAM)
Recruitments active during this timeframe will be impacted. Search and Screen committee members, chairs, and support staff will be unable to access the recruitment and related materials. Applicants will be unable to access or view their data or apply for job openings.
New employees who are approaching their 30-day deadline for benefit enrollments will be unable to complete their enrollments between Wednesday, February 22 and Sunday, February 26. Make plans to complete your enrollment before or after this outage period. If necessary, paper applications may be submitted in order to meet a deadline.
TIME & ABSENCE
University Staff, including project and temporary employees, as well as student employees, will need to enter all absences and hours worked in 2B pay period (2/5/17 - 2/18/17) by the Friday, February 17 deadline. Supervisors of these employees must complete their reviews and approvals of time and absences by end of day Monday, February 20.
Employees will be unable to enter their time and absences between noon on Wednesday, February 22 through Sunday, February 26.
Requests for new access or changes to HRS access will not be possible from noon on Wednesday, February 22 through Sunday, February 26.
HR will be unable to generate reports from HRS data between Wednesday, February 22 and Sunday, February 26.
MY UW PORTAL
Employees will be unable to access the UW Portal between Wednesday, February 22 and Sunday, February 26. Because this outage falls during tax season, employees should make plans to view and/or print any earning statement, W2 Tax Statements, etc. they may need for tax preparation before Wednesday, February 22.
Employees will be unable to access and/or update their personal information during this timeframe, including address, phone, ethnicity, gender, veteran or disability status.
