UW-Parkside Computer Science Hosts Hour of Code Program

The Computer Science department at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside hosted their project, Hour of Code, last Friday.  Middle and high school students from Kenosha Unified School district enjoyed learning introductory coding basics in the university's computer science labs.  The annual Hour of Code events are happening around the nation.  The Mahone Fund partnered with UW-Parkside, GE Milwaukee Affinity Forums, Kenosha Unified School District, and Herzing to present this event.

The students got a tour of the university's App Factory, Maker Space 3-D printing lab, Business and Computer Science Labs,  and a tour of the university of the university.
