Welcome to the Fall 2016 semester and the beginning of our 48^th year of providing quality, public higher education in southeastern Wisconsin.

For students around the world, the first day of classes is the beginning of a dream. Our work in higher education is more important than ever as soundbites and rhetoric capture attention and distract us from learning and deeper understanding.
