• Charles Heide - Co-Trustee of the Brookwood Foundation, Owner of Somers Farm and Prairie
• Boris Dimitrijevic, UW-Parkside Student and Brookwood Foundation Research Recipient

Charles Heide, Brookwood Foundation, Co-Trustee along with wife Ann, own Somers Farm and Prairie, located between UW-Parkside and the Microsoft Data Center and Campus. They hope to preserve 160 acres of remnant prairie, oak savanna and tillable cropping land, while integrating into a landscape of high-tech commercial and supply chain manufacturing investments. The speakers will explain sustainable agriculture and how to make it profitable.
