Self-Defense Training

The UWP Police Department is now offering self-defense classes. The purpose of the UWP PD Self-Defense Program is to provide the UWP Campus Community (Faculty, Staff, and Students) with the EDUCATION of situational awareness and basic self-defense techniques in an active and supportive environment.

If you have ever wanted to take such a class now is your chance. It's encouraged to sign up with a friend. Class sizes are limited to 10 per class. These classes will continue to be offered throughout the year, so if you can’t make these first classes please watch for additional dates and times on our web site.
