International Scholarship Fund

The University of Wisconsin-Parkside's student run International Club is holding its annual World Cuisine dinner on Friday, March 20, which celebrates our global reach.

This event features delicious dishes and live performances from around the world. A few examples of entertainment from past dinners include Ukrainian and Flamenco dancers as well as the lively Indian folk dance Bhangra. This year promises to be as impressive, with live performances representing Serbian, Asian, and South American cultures.

In celebration of culture and the World Cuisine dinner, the UW-Parkside Foundation has developed an International Scholarship fund. The fund will help support and build the global classrooms that the University envisions, through scholarships for International students arriving on campus, many of whom cannot afford an education in the US and will help build partnerships with quality institutions around the world. International students play a vital role in providing the diversity on campus through their experiences that open our students' eyes to a world outside and broaden their horizons. They build on the experiences that our students have, bringing an enhanced global perspective to their academic career and the campus as a whole. Additionally International students, once here, help support the local economy significantly. Many of our alumni also join local Businesses, providing an international workforce critical towards success. Your support for this fund will advance the goals of the University of Wisconsin-Parkside as we continue to stay the most diverse campus in the state.
